There were only four games played today. Webster Schroeder used seven goals in the second half to beat Churchville-Chili 11-5. Even scoring gave Aquinas a 15-11 win over visiting HF-L. Webster Thomas beat the Greece Lightning 15-5 and Brighton beat Brockport 15-2.

Geneva surprised many with their exciting 9-7 win over last year's Class B Champion, Irondequoit in a game played at Hobart College in Geneva today. The Eagles scored first and after Geneva came back for the tie Irondequoit went up again 2-1.

Penn Yan returns this season a favorite for their nineteenth Section Five Championship.  The Mustangs return eighteen players from their 2013 roster.  Bradley Voigt (Syracuse) returns as the leading goals and points scorer for 2013.  He finished the season with 57g-40a (179g-112a in his career).

The Panthers took revenge for their regular season loss over Penfield by scoring the opening two goals and never looked back. The All Star list is out recognizing the Monroe County League players for the 2014 season. Senior midfielder Eric Munn (Canandaigua) and defenseman Nick Panara (Pittsford) were named US Lacrosse Academic All Americans. Junior midfielder Kevin Hill (Thomas) along with senior attackmen Trevor Hodgins (Churchville-Chili), Justin Kesselring (Fairport-A/M) and Stephen Quinzi (Pittsford) were selected as US Lacrosse All Americans.
